[Plugin: WordPress SEO by Yoast] WordPress mod_rewrite

  • Hi!

First of all: thanks for the WordPress SEO plugin.

I`ve changed the permalink setting to “post name”. Just like the WordPress SEO plugin suggested. Then, the plugin adviced me to put “mod_rewrite” code into my .htaccess file.

I previously fully integrated WordPress into my Magento webshop. And, I already removed “index.php” from my URLs with a sort-like "mod_write" script, to get SEO-friendlier URLs in Magento. Furthermore, I could only find one .htaccess file, and that is in the FTP root folder of Magento. I couldnt find a .htaccess file in my WordPress FTP root folder.

So, I`m wondering if I executed your advice correctly?
