  • Now I’m very upset – I just found that by switching themes to try and fix this Yoast glitch, I lost ALL widgets for my pages. All my custom work, GONE.

I’m sure I “should have known” this would happen, but I didn’t. And now I have to redo all my custom widgets.

    Great.

Yup, just finished up Google-cache comparing all my older custom text widgets, HTML code, and so forth – my website is finally back to where it was before SEO plugin glitch.

Other than switching themes, which really isn’t a super graceful fix, is there any way to avoid this Yoast Test Title site-wide glitch?

Yes, use All In One SEO Pack – I’ve switched twice to Yoast and I’m afraid http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/all-in-one-seo-pack/ works better, never offers up a problem and has frequent updates.

Further, when you go to the Yoast site and look for support you’re offered a consultation which will cost you plenty.

I understand this plugin is free but there are no free lunches if it costs you time fixing problems.

I’m not seeing any of these issues. Am seeing, and dealing with, the PressTrends thing but, so far, nothing else looks out of the ordinary. Seems to be issues only in unique environments: plugin conflicts, themes, etc.
