[Plugin: WordPress SEO by Yoast] The site's name appears twice in search

    I’ve been having the same problem. My theme calls the title correctly, <title><?php wp_title(''); ?></title> and my template in the Yoast SEO settings is: %%title%% - %%sitename%% .

    Have you tried the Force Rewrite option?
