[Plugin: WordPress SEO by Yoast] sitemap_index.xml 404 on Windows Server IIS 7.5

    WordPress 3.4.2
    Wordpress SEO Version 1.2.8.7
    Server 2008 R2/IIS 7.5
    PHP 5.2.14 (FastCGI)

    I installed WordPress SEO but am getting a 404 error on the sitemap_index.xml

    I looked around for resolution to this issue, but everything seems to involve mod_rewrite hacks, and I’m running WP on IIS 7.5, not Apache.

    Do I need to force XML files to be processed by PHP or something for this to work in my environment?
