[Plugin: WordPress SEO by Yoast] Sitemap and meta descriptions/images not updating.

    Hi, about 10-12 days ago I updated my meta descriptions under the pages tab using the Yoast seo tool. These haven’t updated on the live site in search results. The xml site map shows the correct date of the last update yet nothing happens with regards to Google or Bing.

    Another thing, I have added several new images and they don’t show up in the xml sitemap either. Using Google webmaster tools, they don’t show up there either.

    My home page is updated daily, and the rest weekly. with homepage set to 100% and the rest at 80% and 60%.

    Can anybody offer any idea why the sitemap isn’t showing the new images and why search results do’t display the meta description snippets after all this time?
