Please share the URL to your site… Usually the homepage is in the page sitemap.

    Sorry for the delayed reply,
Ive added another sitemap just til this is solved not sure why this is happening. Link http://oceancomputertech.com

If you take a look at the site and have time id also like to get your opinion on the number of redirects I have on the site and the best way to go about it for seo purposes.

Again your help is appreciated Thanks!

Ah, I think I found the issue. You’re only using pages, right? Yet under Settings -> Reading, your homepage is set to display the most recent posts, correct?

If that’s the case, I have just solved the bug in the development version, could you test that?

You can download the development version from here, or you can download it directly here.

    Correct

    Thanks, that did it!
It now displays the Home Page in the Sitemap.
    Thanks again.

Any Ideas for the redirect url’s?

No, sorry, that’s consultancy, not a WP SEO plugin issue 🙂

Is that version that you posted to download newer than version 1.3.4.4? I just installed the SEO plugin yesterday and I am noticing my home page is not on the sitemap either. I wanted to make sure that the link you provided for him to download was different from the version that I downloaded and installed.

    Thank you in advance.

This was posted quite some time ago though ncfan2030. The problem was also fixed then as well. Are you using the iFeature theme?
