[Plugin: WordPress SEO by Yoast] SEO on the home.php?

    My theme uses home.php as the default page.

    I can’t figure out how to edit the SEO of this page, there is no option in the admin bar.

    In the wordpress settings, there is also no page for the home.php file, so I can’t add seo to it from there.

    I tried adding the SEO to the Home Page from the Yoast settings in wordpress, but it had no effect on the home.php file.
