[Plugin: WordPress SEO by Yoast] Remove trailing slash and properly 301 redirect

  • If we setup /%postname% at Permalinks, WordPress just adds the trailing slash to the end of all URLs.

I’ve noticed Yoast has the option to Enforce a trailing slash on all category and tag URL’s.

Would you consider adding a new option, but that would do the opposite?

We are looking for a way to disable trailing slash on our URL’s, since we are migrating from Drupal we this was not an issue at all.
