• When i post to wordpress i have a featured category that i use if i want it featured on the home page.. but it will also be categorized as something else.

What im noticing in the breadcrumbs and in google search results is the featured category is being used and not the other category i pick. Is there away to prioritize what category to use in the breadcrumbs and google rankings if its multi categorized. or force not to use “featured” category in breadcrumbs and urls?

  • I would also like to find out how to do this, simply!

I will have a crack at it though in the mean time. Whichever is first – my skills or the WP community, doesn’t matter to me ;)…

Did either of you guys get a solutons to this? Is there some way to prioritise or specify which category is shown in the breadcrumb when a post is in multiple categories? At the moment as far as I can tell it chooses the category to display alphabetically.
