[resolved] [Plugin: WordPress SEO by Yoast] Problems with Facebook Open Graph (6 posts)

When I run my site though the facebook debug tool I'm getting the following errors:

Like Button Warnings That Should Be Fixed
    "Admins and app id missing"

    "Like button tag missing"

    and

Open Graph Warnings that should be fixed
    "Extraneous property"
    "paser Mismatched Metadata"

I'm not sure what those do. When you use this plug in it gives several options about logging in as an admin, a page, etc...I log in as our facebook page admin. Am I doing something wrong?

    Hi Rick,

please link to the full FB lint URL next time.

Facebook deprecated the page_id as a valid owner, so you need to choose an app, or a user. I'd go for a user in most cases.

Thanks. What is the difference between having as an app or a user?

I have a Facebook page that people interact with a lot, and also am using an app to allow people to log in to comment via Facebook. So would it mess anything up by having a personal id, and a app id?

Also by app isn't showing up when I log in to the plug in.

One final question, do you guys have plans to use the new SDK that was released? It has more features.

The app or user determines who gets to see the facebook insights for the domain, that's why i'd go with the user.

I don't add or use the SDK, i just output opengraph meta tags :)

Hmm. ok. So you don't have to use the sdk for the open graph?

Also you can link an app id with the insights for websites. Is that a good way to go about it?

it doesn't matter much. If you have to ask a user is probably good enough.
