• Hi!
The plugin Woocommerce has a setting to view the categories and the subcategories instead of the products when viewing the shop base page or a category. However, when activating the WordPress SEO plugin, all the products is shown instead of the categories. The shop title is also changed to Products Archive instead of just Products. The WordPress SEO plugin is somehow overriding the Woocommerce settings, but I can’t figure out how. I’ve tried deactivating settings in the WordPress SEO plugin without any results. Is there a way to fix this?

Hey, I stumbled upon this post because I had the same problem and nothing else helped me.

On the SEO tab/menu (Yoast), click on “Post Types” then scroll all the way there where it says “Products”. There you can remove “%%pt_plural%% Archive” and replace it with “Shop” or whatever you’d like.

    Hope this helps!

    thanks so much!
