I deactivated and activated the “hide category basic option” and now it works… :-S

I’ve deactivated and activated the “hide category basic option” twice in the last few days and it worked at first but then it goes back to “Page not found” This was happening before the latest update and I thought the update fixed it so I didn’t report this yesterday, but the problem is back.

I now also have the problem as above, when this plugin is activated, none of the categories in the menu are working or resolving correctly. At present I am running my site without SEO

I had the same issue running wp 3.4.1 with wordpress seo v1.2.5 and the above solution worked for me. Simply deactivating and reactivating the “Strip the category base” option fixed the problem.

I have the same issues with all of the sites I updated. Primarily running Genesis. Help Yoast!! Help.

i have the same problem with wp 3.4.1 and WordPress SEO 1.2.5, “strip the category base” option doesn’t work, i try to disable and enable again but nothing….

after i’m getting 404 error when i try to click on the category from articles

My site is having this same problem… Category links from menus aren’t working when enabling this feature. I’m also running Genesis if that helps…

    Same here.. Please fix this!
