[Plugin: WordPress SEO by Yoast] Plugin is crashing my site.

    Hi I have downloaded a theme and had a problem with a blank screen. I have managed to narrow this down to being caused with a conflict with the Yoast SEO plugin,

    So I am not able to use the theme till this is sorted as I need the plugin enabled and have done a lot of work on it so deleting it is not really an option. Any idea of why this maybe happening?

    Also if I delete the plugin and reinstall it to see if this fixes the problem would I lose all the work that has been done? Will an export preserve the full set of data entered.

    You can test this easily, if you export the mysql-database and replace the domain in the .sql-file with your localhost (or whatever you’re using), download all installation-files with ftp, change the config-file and then run everything on your localhost (e. g. with xampp).
