[Plugin: WordPress SEO by Yoast] Pages not taking Yoast content
-
Hi friends
I hope you are able to help me out. I have 2 sites. One is http://www.homotropolis.com and the other one is an English version of our site http://www.homotropolis.com/en. Our Danish site (the.com one) is indexed really good on Google while the English site seems to be struggling with its google rating and when I search for my page URL directly on Google it does not show the meta description that I added on the page via Yoast.
I am using Yoast for SEO on both pages but they have different themes and I always make sure to add descriptions, title, internal linking etc. and tend to follow the rules of SEO. However, my posts seems to be ok rated on Google, but not my pages which I believe I optimised quite well for Google. My posts are doing ok on Google, but my pages are rated horribly and I cannot figure out why.
A few examples of pages:
http://www.homotropolis.com/en
http://www.homotropolis.com/en/gay-lesbian/denmark/copenhagen/bars-nightclubs/
http://www.homotropolis.com/en/gay-lesbian/denmark/copenhagen/bars-nightclubs/masken-bar-cafe/I think I made quite good urls for my paghes and I can’t seem to foigure out the issue. I sent Google my sitemap, but still my pages rate poorly.
I hope someone can help me out with this issue and look so much forward to hear from you. I wonder if something in my theme is blocking the Yoast? I am using WPZOOM Manifesto theme.
I am looking very much forward to hearing from you.
Kind regards,
Helle
