I am working on optimizing SEO on my workplace's website. I am also learning on the job and am fairly new to understanding SEO, so excuse my ignorance on the subject.
Our website uses a page builder plugin on many of our pages that enable us to easily create page layouts that otherwise would be very difficult. However, that means WordPress SEO only reads the content on the main page on which the builder has "built" the layout using multiple pages. Some of these include tabs with product specs, user guides and downloads. We also employ widgets to display images, videos on the sidebar.
In the interest of optimizing SEO, as well as simply clean up the site's layout, I have tried to have the builder pull some of the content from the main page itself. This enables the WordPress SEO to have some content, but not all, to reference.
How do I optimize SEO for a site using a builder like this? Would the best course of action be to simply move away from it and try to have content on a single page as much as possible?
