[resolved] [Plugin: WordPress SEO by Yoast] No more HTML editor icons / No more Nextgen flash uploader (18 posts)

Just solved a problem in this (1.2.8.2) and previous version (the error on the meta-description here, temporarily fixed by an user), and today I discovered two more errors after SEO update.
One is the disappearance of formatting icons in HTML post/pages editor and the other is about the Nextgen flash uploader: everytime for use them I have to disable SEO plugin.
Yoast, I respect and understand plugin developers like you that work great in open-source programming, but with each plugin's update there are always too many mistakes, it begins to be annoying, the loss of time is remarkable.
Now, how do we solve these two if not disabling the plugin?

Yup, I too just encountered this problem today. Updated the Yoast SEO plugin, then went to add a new post and all the HTML formatting icons were gone. Deactivated the plugin, refreshed and they appeared like they're suppose to. Activated the plugin again and the problem was there. Hoping for a fix really soon!

Had the same issue as well with these problems. I also noticed if you have meta box in dashboard (mine is jetpack site stats), it doesn't show too.

OK, you all can read this post: WordPress SEO by Yoast 1.2.8.1 版本问题修复方法 .

The solution is to downgrade wordpress seo by yoast to 1.2.7, but before downgrading, export your settings first. You can use this url to access the import/export dashboard:
    http://www.jsxubar.info/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wpseo_import
Replace "www.jsxubar.info" with your own domain name.

    @ okay456okay Yours isn't a solution, are you a spammer?

Please, Yoast, give a sign for more urgent problem here, HTML editor first and then, please, for Nextgen flash uploader.

Off course . I am not a spammer.
Maybe you should consider downgrade way.
It seems the new version will not come soon.

Yes, I have the same issue with WordPress SEO plugin on my site. A quick fix would be great. I couldn't write posts without HTML QuickTags Toolbar buttons! :P

The problem with the broken HTML tags is not resolved with version 1.2.8.3.

Currently I can only work with the visual editor. This is not good.

    Greetings!

@raikit 1.2.8.3 fixed the problem for me. However, you might not want to resort to spamming the message boards.

Question to you guy on 1.2.8.3 - I had gone back to version 1.2.5 because I was having issues. If you strip category base with new version does it work?

Yes, strip category base for archives works fine with 1.2.8.3
