• TL;DR version: How do I set a custom title for a page with this plugin?!

This is probably a stupid question, but it’s really frustrating me.

I was using the All in One SEO plugin, and liked it, but I kept reading about how Yoast is the best, so I’m giving it a try. With AIOSEO, when you went to “pages” from the Dashboard, you could edit title/desc right from the main page menu.

Upon installation of Yoast, all of my 4 pages titles (Home, About Us, Contact, and Services) changed from the unique titles and descriptions I had, to a “generic” title.

    Essentially, they’re now…

Home • Reputation Management • Internet Marketing • Locally Owned
Support • Reputation Management • Internet Marketing • Locally Owned
Contact Us • Reputation Management • Internet Marketing • Locally Owned
    Etc…

If I go to Title/Meta, and down to Pages, I can take %%title%% out, but now I’m left with 4 pages that have titles just starting with the separator:

    • Reputation Management • Internet Marketing • Locally Owned

    Nevermind.

You have to delete everything from the Title/Meta > Pages template, then you can enter the fields in the plugin field for each page.
