[Plugin: WordPress SEO by Yoast] Indexatin acting on robots.txt orheader meta?
Does the “indexation” page deal with robots.txt or with meta robots in header of pages?
– I already have a robots.txt (I can edit through the plugin too) and it does not seem to be affected by options set in indexation. Because that would work only if I have none? But then, why should you allow me to edit it then?
(I feel the options provided in indexation are good, but there should be a space for custom rules too)
If the rules set in “indexation” write in the header robots meta tags, fine… but searching about it, I only found this post
saying that it actaully does not work wothout a fix somewhere.
So … I wonder!
Thanks a lot for the great job pushed to everyone
