Support » Plugin: Yoast SEO » [Plugin: WordPress SEO by Yoast] Importing from Headspace2 and focus keyword issues

  • Hello, I have added this issue to your bug tracker, but as there are reported bugs that do not seem to have had an answer in over 144 days, I thought I would add it here as I really need to know what the issue is and what can be done about it.

I will describe the problems that I have seen when using your awesome plugin.

    1) I have always used Headspace2 in the past on all of my sites. When I install your plugin and try to import from Headspace2, it does absolutely nothing. Nothing is imported. No error messages are shown. I have to manually port over from Headspace2.

    2) I can not access the focus keyword area. I do not get any sections for wordpress seo when creating a post or page. I have ticked and unticked the “hide” box for posts and pages, but I still do not see anything at all that relates to wordpress seo when creating new or editing existing posts or pages. The only thing that shows is the SEO with a grey light. When I click on the link next to it, it does absolutely nothing except add #wpseo_linkdex to the end of the address. The page doesn’t even reload and it shows nothing.

Both of these issues happen on all my sites. I have deactivated all other plugins and made sure that the latest wordpress version was being used, but both of the issues remain. It almost seems as if the linkdex is entirely missing from the plugin as it is not accessible and I can not access the relevant areas detailed in your description for this item.

    Many thanks
