Hi, focus keyword isn’t detected when followed by a semi colon (;). The semi colon character is used as a question marked in Greek, so it’s quite common and I would like it to be fixed.

Also, when you type a focus keyword, a list pops up with suggestions related to that focus keyword. That’s nice. Problem is that when typing a focus keyword in Greek (I guess it happens in other languages too), this list shows words in utf-8 encoded characters and not normal characters. This is very bad as it becomes useless and unreadable.

(Really, how is this list generated? Google search?)

Will fix ‘;’ for the next release, and yes it’s generated using the google suggest API, can you show me what it does wrong? With a screenshot perhaps?

Yes, I should have done it before.

Now that I see it again, I think it’s utf8, but something else. Anyway, you know…

Been working on this quite a bit, check these 2 images out:

If you could try the development version I’d love to hear your feedback!

    My findings so far:

    1. Keywords followed by semi colon (;) are detected now but are not emphasized (bold) in the serp snippet.

    2. If I write a heading containing my keyword everything is ok and the word is detected in the heading. But when I delete this heading, the detection section is not updated and still shows the keyword as detected in headings (I think this is an older issue, not related to any changes you’ve done recently, but I don’t really remember).

    3. When I type a focus keyword, the suggestion list is readable now. I have a question though (since the day I started using this plug in): What the “Find related keywords” button do? For me it doesn’t do anything.

    Ok, in the development version:

    1 is fixed,
2 is slightly fixed but running it more often comes at a price, so need to see what I can do there.
3 used to work but Yahoo killed that API, trying to come up with a replacement, if i don’t find one, i’ll remove the button.

I see. Thanks for your support and this great plugin!
