[Resolved] [Plugin: WordPress SEO by Yoast] Fatal error: Cannot use object of type WP_Error as array

  • Hello,

    I installed the SEO plugin yesterday and have set up all features as required. This morning, having not made any additional changes, the SEO box underneath any Post or Page states:

    Fatal error: Cannot use object of type WP_Error as array in (website…)public_html/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/admin/class-metabox.php on line 665

    Does anyone know what may have caused this and how I can go about fixing it? Since the error, I cannot see any text in my posts or pages, and therefore have no ability to add or amend blogs.

    Many thanks,

    bplumb

  • EDIT:

    The line in question is
    $gplus = json_decode( $resp['body'] );

    I did amend my Google+ contact details this morning, so there must be some issue here…any ideas?

    I think I have sorted. It seemed that the issue was my Google+ field finished with /posts. As soon as I remove this, all seems fine…I think!
