[Plugin: WordPress SEO by Yoast] Custom Post Type Categories not working with WP Seo by Yoast

    WordPress version: 3.4.1
    WordPress SEO version: 1.2.5

    I did this: I filled in values for the custom post taxonomy that I am trying to change. I am trying to get your plugin to work with The Events Calendar, Community Events add-on from Modern Tribe. I am also using a WooThemes Briefed Theme.

    I expected the plugin to do this: I expected your plugin to be able to change the page titles for these pages and nothing has worked. You can see more about the issues involved by going here: http://tri.be/support/forums/topic/changing-title-of-gridview/#post-21659

    Instead it did this: Nothing, regardless of how I have tried to get around this issue. I changed the header.php title code to what you recommended. I have tried to change this category page title on the Titles & Metas Template pages and on the individual custom post type category pages. I can’t get anything to affect those page titles.

    Hi John,

    Did you ever resolve this?

    I have 4 custom post types, 2 of which are working fine with the plugin but the other 2 won’t display the page title or meta description that I’ve entered…
