[Plugin: WordPress SEO by Yoast] Breadcrumbs Render Incorrectly if Post is Included in DCG

  • Hello,

Just installed WP SEO Version 0.2.3.1 last week. If I navigate to a page that is filed under a category in my subnav bar but is also included in the Dynamic Content Gallery (which means it is also in my “Featured” category; my Featured category is simply an unlisted category I use to display images in the Dynamic Content Gallery – a visitor cannot see it.), the breadcrumb shows that it is a child of the Featured category. Remember, I’ve navigated to the post via the category on the subnav bar, in fact, other than clicking on the DCG, the category on the subnav bar is the only way to navigate to any of the posts in that category. So this breadcrumb makes no sense.

    Any way to correct this?

Oh yeah, if the fix involves the use of code, please be very specific as to where I’d put it – not just the name of the document I’d put the code into, but where in the document; ie – after________ and before_______ (still kinda new at this).

    Thanks much,

    Diana
