    there is no attribute "typeof"

    typeof="v:Breadcrumb"><strong

    there is no attribute "property"

    class="breadcrumb_last" property="v:title"

    I've been reverting back to class-breadcrumbs.php, version 1.1.9 to get it to validate.

    Thanks, Nick

    Go here: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wordpress-seo/developers/

    You can find all the old versions. You have to download the entire plugin file. Once you have it, navigate to to the file: wordpress-seo.1.1.9/wordpress-seo/frontend

    I don't know. That's why I started this thread. Must not be all that important to Yoast as he hasn't answered in the two months since.

    No biggie, I will just keep replacing the updates with the 1.1.9 version, or perhaps look for a compliant breadcrumb plugin and abandon this one.

    There's a BUG with Breadcrumbs, I've filed a detailed report here: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/bug-nested-categories-with-breadcrumbs-navigation

    I found a compliant breadcrumb plugin and hard coded it into my theme. Problem solved.
