[Plugin: WordPress SEO by Yoast] Title tags (e.g., %%page%%) on CPT archives?

    Hello, I have an ‘update’ custom post type with a corresponding archive-update.php template. I’m looking to include the page numbers in the <title> of these pages. However, it appears that the WordPress SEO plugin doesn’t allow the use of the title tags, such as %%page%% or %%pagenumber%%, for custom post types.

    How can I add the page number to the titles of these archive pages?
