Hi, after updating your plugin it wont save the seo title and meta description.

We have a custom taxonomy setup, and it saved all our old posts but not when we create a new one. It blanks it self out as nothing where written in your seo box, when we save draft or publish.

    Any Idea?

    Thanks

Which version of WordPress are you on and which version of PHP?

    Hi Joost

We are on version 3.1.1 wordpress, and php 5 at hostgator.

And it’s not taxonomy, but custom post-type.

Thanks for taking your time with this, let us know if we could give you more information.

I upgraded to Version 0.2.5.2 and the problem was solved.

The only problem that has not been corrected the error is “catchable fatal error: Object of class WP_Error Could Not Be converted to string in”

This is the error message: catchable fatal error: Object of class WP_Error Could Not Be converted to string in / home/bkbus546/public_html/xxxxxx.com/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/frontend/class-frontend.php on line 380

This problem occurs when I search in categories.

I’ll need access to your site to figure out what’s causing that, it’s weird, to be honest.

To try to do a search using the search bar from the main page and select any category and see what happens.

Dude change that admin pass NOW and email me the new pass, joost at my domain. Never ever ever ever put it in a public forum again.

Issue found and fixed for version 0.2.5.3, to be released soon.

Actually the problem was resolved and I am very grateful. Only have one problem, now when you do a search in categories no longer appears and the error page and display the result but not the title of the page is loaded.

    Right way

    Example: Search for Old Cars
Title: Search for Old Cars | ClassiNoivas

    Wrong way
    Only it’s like this:

    Example: Search for Old Cars
    Title: – ClassiNoivas

I want you to know that your work is wonderful, it’s simply the best SEO plugin I’ve ever worked with.

You can set the title template for search result pages on the SEO -> Titles page, I’ll check whether the default actually makes sense.
