No it’ll be added in 0.4 though. Coming up in a few days with entirely new XML Sitemap code. I’ll make sure to ping Alex to see if we can make it work.

Ok, many thanks for letting me know!

    My pleasure 🙂

Ok… so the first SEO compatible version of nextgen will be with Yoast only? Just curious because I use ALL in one SEO and google sitemaps but i’m willing to switch.

my site is and SEO for images is a big deal because there really isn’t any indexing of the image pages or the individual image pages which is what we want the most.

I’ve updated the code according to WordPress SEO 0.4.0 or higher :

This will be automatic included in the upcomming release 1.8.0

Thanks Alex, this is great to know! When (roughly) are you hoping 1.8.0 will be released? Looking forward to it!

Tommorrow I publish Release Candidate 1… maybe next week final release

    Wonderful 🙂

    This is happy news!

Will it work with google xml sitemaps?

    Alex Rabe

No, the plugin author didn’t add a filter for other plugins. So it’s the best to
    Switch now

I’ve been using 1.8 since the first alpha showed up on your Google Code page and it has been a great experience. I look forward to the final release and integration with the SEO image map solution!

Yoast’s SEO plugin shows now in the setup, under Taxonomies, a place to set the template for “Ngg_tag”. What should be entered in that template?

Based on other settings I’ve seen from

    • Title template = %%term_title%% – %%sitename%%
    • Meta description template = %%term_description%%
    • Meta keywords template = %%term_title%%

But I think this would be WRONG (particularly the meta description part).

Anyone knows what should be entered there??

    I have same problem…

    Images in sitemap: 0 (WHY?)
    NGG_TAG : Break page (404)

    Whats the solution…

I left the ngg_tag part blank and Google Webmaster Tools doesn’t know what to do with it.

    Hopefully Yoast will respond.
