[Plugin: WordPress Popular Posts] WPPP Disappeared

  • I am running a couple WP sites on Media Temple and over the last 24 hours have been unable to get my popular posts widgets to display properly. I am running the Jetpack, but WPPP was working fine after that installed. The only other recent change was a minor update to WPTouch, but deactivating that had no change. Is anyone else experiencing this behavior? Searching my page source gives me the following error:
    <!– WPPP error: no top-posts fetched. –>
The last time I had a problem like this was during the recent DDOS attack against WordPress.com, but I am getting stats info in Jetpack. Any ideas?

  • I think I have the same problems. I haven’t changed anything on my blogs, but “WPPP” doesnt displays any posts.

Maybe the problem is in the WordPress-Stats-Plugin and not in WPPP!

I got busy after posting this and didn’t look into it any further. Then a couple days ago it just started working again. I am guessing maybe it was a server side issue on WordPress.com?
