I installed WordPress Popular Posts a few weeks ago and let it count up views. Then this weekend I set it up to display three most popular posts. Looks fine at http://www.goodshepherdbh.org (see bottom of blog posts on home page).
But then I began getting hourly error reports through WordPress File Monitor which I did not receive previously. They all look like this. except for each error line the entry # and value is different:
[24-Jan-2011 18:51:23] WordPress database error Duplicate entry ‘170-2011-01-24’ for key ‘id’ for query INSERT INTO wp_popularpostsdatacache (id, day) VALUES (‘170’, CURDATE()) made by do_action, call_user_func_array, WordPressPopularPosts->wpp_ajax_update
Here’s my plugin call:
<?php get_mostpopular(“range=all&limit=3&order_by=views&pages=0&thumbnail_width=200&cats_to_exclude=27,24,1&thumbnail_selection=usergenerated&stats_comments=0”); ?>
