[Resolved] [Plugin: WordPress Popular Posts] Update deletes timthumb configuration

The common plugin update process deletes all files in the plugin folder. I had a timthumb configuration file in this folder (in order to allow a different url for thumbnail creation). Maybe you could add some options to the plugin’s management page where one could add all the necessary timthumb configuration in a future release?

    Hi palatino,

I’m not sure if I’ll stick to Timthumb on future releases becase, to be honest, I prefer not using it. I’ve been wanting to create a script that uses WordPress’ built-in features to create images instead of relying on Timthumb to do so, however I haven’t been able to do it yet.

In the given case I end up giving up, I might add a way to allow users to edit Timthumb options as you mentioned. However, as I said, it’s not a priority for now.

    Hi H├ęctor,

thank you for answering. I did not know your plans and will be happy with any solution you come up with. I have been a user of your plugin since a long time now and like it very much.
