Oops my apologies, here it is
Link
Seems to be working fine. Right now I’m seeing two posts listed under Popular Posts called “Wicked Wok” and “Curved Yellow Fruit” (WTF? LOL).
Thanks Ikki24, you are right, hehhe the blog is about funny images and so on.
it seems that the plugin does not seem to “remember” the most popular posts, at some random interval it would say Sorry. No data so far.
any ideas ?
alright my bad, it does seem to remember the viewed posts, but in the widget, it is only set for the most popular posts of the day, is there anyway to switch that to all-time ?
Yes you can set time range as today-weekly-monthly or all time in widgets page. See the screenshots.
ozkan, you sir are a legend.
thanks a lot, that was the last place I expected to look.
🙂
Thanks ozkan for helping out!
Hi –
I just began using this plugin (looks fantastic so far). Obviously, nothing’s showing yet, since I just installed it, but my question is: can I remove it from my sidebar, but keep the plugin enabled, and will it collect information?
That way, I can check back from time to time to see if it’s ready to display data.
Thanks!
my site
Hi mzimmers,
I haven’t tried that but yes, it should still pick up the stats even if the widget isn’t present on your theme.
Hi mzimmers,
Ikki24 is correct, stats will be available in the admin section.
Good to know. I don’t have to actually look at them; I just want the system to collect the stats for awhile before I begin to display them, just so there’s something to display before I add the widget.
This plugin is fantastic. I have a suggestion, though. Can you add an option so that it doesn’t include private pages?
Oops…it appears that it already does that. My bad.
I do have another suggestion: is it possible to exclude the home page from the list?
Thanks.
Hi mzimmers,
The homepage does not appear in the list.
