    Hi Hector

I've been using WPP for almost 2 years and recently I've noticed the stats are not changing.

If you look at my website damien.co and in the footer is a widget with WPP

What I'm seeing today is that 1 post was viewed 1 time - have you seen problems like this before?

All I can think of right now is caching ... and serving out a cached page is not triggering an increase in the views. I'm using W3 Total Cache if that helps.

Have you got any ideas please?

    Hi Damien,

Yes, that's got to be it. My plugin used to work fine with both WP Super Cache and W3 Total Cache but it appears that the developers of the latter changed something that now prevents my plugin from working with it. I know it works with Super Cache because other users have reported that everything is OK with that one, so I need to take a look into W3TC and see what happened.

Thanks for reporting, will get back to you as soon as I can.

    Hi all,

I have similar problem - I am running site on VPS, and there is some CACHE plugin enabled on server (not a wordpress plugin). Everything worked fine until 2 days ago when we started caching (what really improved site speed).

I suppose there is no solution for that problem? Counters does not increase anymore, so widget is useless..

Would need to know how that cache script works in order to offer a solution, otherwise there's not much I can do.

I am also using W3 Total Cache. Is there a way to get the plugin to work with that?
