  • Hi Jaracely,

First of all, thanks for your suggestion. I really appreciate it when people take the time to provide some feedback about my plugin.

Now, the reason why it looks that way is because my plugin doesn’t handle any of the visual design of your popular posts listing. Actually, what you’re seeing now is how your current theme styles it.

WordPress Popular Posts won’t use any CSS simply because it could break people’s theme and that would be a terrible pain in the butt for me. Hence, I decided not to include any CSS and let people give WordPress Popular Posts the appeareance they wanted. Again, it looks like that on your blog because that’s how your theme makes it look.

There are a couple of ways to achieve what you want. If you know a bit of CSS (or know someone who does), you could easily get the visual effect you want to just by modifying your theme’s stylesheet a bit (or by adding your modifications to the wpp.css stylesheet included with WordPress Popular Posts).

    Thanks for commenting!
