  • Hi guys,

This plugin is going to be perfect for us – we are a school and I am going to use it to provide category specific feeds to teachers. Here is my problem…

We are using the More Privacy Options plugin so that some students can have their blogs available only to our school network. How can we have their posts included in the SWT blog? We will have the SWT blog network protected, so we aren’t concerned about privacy issues when implementing this. Thanks in advance for your help!

There’s a checkbox in the settings for the privacy. When it’s checked SWT only pulls posts from public blogs. When it’s uncheck SWT doesn’t check the privacy setting.

That checks to see if the blogs are “non-public” but there are five privacy choices with More Privacy Options and SWT isn’t populating from blogs that are network protected – which I need.

Comment out the privacy check in SWT.

Looking through the functions…but I’m not awesome with the php. Can you help with what exactly I need to comment out?

I’m seeing tags_blog_public and then tags_blog_pub_check which gets set to 0 if tags_blog_public = 1…and vice versa…but then I get a little lost with just how those are being used and what to eliminate…

Found it 🙂 Thanks for your help!

I commented out 352-353 and it seems to work. Is that the best method?

    Colin,

That’s what worked for me. Now I get all posts (in theory) but the secured ones will require that I log in before I can read the whole post.
