I can’t stay logged in to a site when I visit its front end.

I have the log in/log out tag in the footer and it always says log in no matter what.

After a couple hours of reading, I only could find one person asking this question but didn’t see it get addressed and was curious if anyone has any thought about how to fix it.

Does anybody have any information on this? Perhaps there’s a resource you can point me to that I haven’t found.

I can stay logged in, but user registrations are redirected to the main network site (when a user tries to register at mappeddomain.com, they are redirected to maindomain.com, and the user is not added to the mappeddomain.com site)

    I have the same problem…

I also have the same problem.

I suspect this is because cookies are being set for the network subdomain and not the mapped domain.

This is making the Private posts setting unusable and means users are struggling to comment.

    Solved.

In the Domain Mapping options screen untick this box:

“Redirect administration pages to site’s original domain (remote login disabled if this redirect is disabled)”
