[Plugin: WordPress Link Directory] activating this plugin broke my site

I downloaded the newest version and uploaded it to 2.6.3 and tried to activate it and got an error stating that it couldn’t find a function.
I had to delete the plugin by FTP to be able to access my site again.

I tried to leave a message on the plugin owner’s website comments with the exact error message, but it appears that the owner’s comments.php is messed up so no message could be left.

I really hope this gets fixed. I’ve been looking for a free link directory manager in php for wordpress or external.
