Support » Plugin: WordPress HTTPS (SSL) » [Plugin: WordPress HTTPS (SSL)] Wrong secure URL being output

  • Just upgraded to WordPress HTTPS 3.0.3, and there is a problem with some generated URLs. The secure domain name is “https://secure.—“, and going to “https://www.—” is not supported by the host. When accessing a secured page, the first item of the main site menu is generated as “https://www.—” which should not happen as the secure domain name is set correctly in the plugin options. Additionally, the use of home_url() and get_home_url() also outputs the same wrong URL when on a secure page.

    Hey cflm,

What do you have your Blog URL and Site URL set to?

The plugin uses home_url() to build it’s HTTP and HTTPS Url. If you enable debug mode on the plugin, open your browser’s console on a page, and you can see exactly what the plugin is up to.
