# [Plugin: WordPress HTTPS (SSL)] Internet Explorer displays security error

 * after installing the security certificate and using this fantastic plugin, i 
   seem to have secured my checkout page no problems. However, when I leave from
   it to go to paypal, Internet Explorer gives this message: To help protect your
   security, Internet Explorer has blocked this website from displaying content 
   with security certificate errors. click here for options.
    The certificate is
   a new private SSL certificate through hostgator. What to do?

 * I just pushed out version 3.0 which may or may not fix the issues you were having.
   Please try updating and let me know if you need any help.
 * Sorry for the late response. I have not had time to support the plugin for a 
   while now. Since I just pushed out 3.0, I’ll be keeping an eye on the support
   forums to fix any bugs that arise.
