[Plugin: WordPress HTTPS (SSL)] HTTPS redirects to my index page when I used shared SSL

  • I have set up the plugin and the only pages I wanted encrypted are the admin pages. The shared SSL sharedssl.com (for example) and my domain is mucker.com.

I am using shared hosting. My wordpress site can be accessed under my domain as as sharedss.com/mucker. The problem I have though is that everytime I access my wordpress site through this method it redirects to the root domain. This is exactly what you would normally want but since I need it to redirect to and stay to sharedssl.com/mucker/wp-admin for the login process I dont. Each time I try to login to the admin console the SSL plugin redirects to sharedssl.com/mucker/wp-admin (which is correct) but then WordPress redirects to mucker.com breaking my login process.

I’m sure this has come up before, how is this fixed?
