[Plugin: WordPress HTTPS] Replace Bug and Other Issues

  • I notice that the plugin is not replacing the http to https when using a custom link via the builtin WordPress menu. I have a custom link to my home page. This link is internal, yet the plugin is not replacing the link.

Also, I am having trouble getting the SSL Errors to disappear from my page. I am attempting to use SSL on a single page. All elements on this page are being included via HTTPS thanks to your plugin. Only external file I am using is jQuery, which is hosted via HTTPS as well.

Are then any other items that could cause the issue? I am using latest version of Chrome as my browser. I assume your plugin modifies the code before output, so the browser should see everything as HTTPS initially.

Also, there is an ajax request on the page I am attempting to secure. Perhaps this could cause the issue?

    Hey ckruse,

It depends on how you wrote your custom link as to whether or not it will work correctly.

If you could show me your site, I could take a look at that, as well as the other issues you’re having. It’s hard to say what the problem is without checking it out myself.

    Thanks,
    Mike
