• Mvied,

thanks a lot for your plugin, which may solve a lot of things. In combination with e-commerce it is, unfortunately, driving me nuts like others before. On my site (http://www.medizinid.de/medizinidde/wordpress/) I am trying to secure “Produkte” (products, e-commerce), “Personalisierung” (product personaliszation using FS contact form), and “Kasse”(e-commerce). However, I am too stupid to get the thing rolling. I tracked down interferrence issues with other installed plugins – nothing.

The only and very weak lead so far is that this might be a problem with the shared ssl host I am using (ssl-id.de). On the other hand, I put correct shared-ssl-information into your plugin. It is working so far in general, also redirections is not an issue.

But all elements of wp-e-commerce cannot be loaded! Do have an idea?

    Thanks.

well, i just had an idea and found a problem within the permalink options. setting back to standard brought up the e-commerce stuff, but the layout is still broken.

solved the design issue partially: the panorama theme of themocracy does not handle https at all. switching back to twenty ten and the layout is partially back. however, still problems with pictures on secured , links and the e-commerce shopping cart. wp-e-commerce is still having problems redirecting pages. tried all combinations of checkboxes in the https-plugin…

    man its drivin’ me…

me again, seems that the whole issue is more complex and releated to the shared ssl. the provider requires relative links. though this shouldn’t be a problem and be a standard (lack of developer’s policy), wp and the plugins do not handle this (which makes your job hard) – so I consider to dump wp …

    Hey alterverwalter,

After checking out your site, it doesn’t look like the plugin is doing everything that it should. You have a number of scripts and stylesheets attempting to load over HTTPS with your regular domain, not your Shared SSL Host: https://www.medizinid.de/medizinidde/wordpress/wp-includes/js/thickbox/thickbox.css?ver=20090514

I imagine it’s an interference with the output buffering that the plugin uses to fix all of those.

If we can figure out why it’s not working correctly, relative links will not be required. Would it be possible for me to take a peak under the hood of your site? If so, you can email details to mike[at]mvied[dot]com.
