[Plugin: WordPress Gzip Compression] When uninstalled it made my whole website blank

I installed it, and couldn’t find any settings or presence anywhere. (I’m using multisite, couldn’t find as network admin or on the main site)

Then I tested my website with online website testers, seemed that there was no gzipping going on,

So I uninstalled it, and then my whole website went blank, nothing but blank white screens everywhere. I re-installed the plugin, and site was back to normal.

If I wanted to uninstall, what do I need to clean or fix to prevent this? Thanks
