# [Plugin: WordPress Gzip Compression] doesn't work

 * I have a LINUX server that accepts gzip compression. I am running WP 3.0.5. I
   installed this plugin & ran 2 tests from different sources — both said that gzip
   compression was not enabled.

 * I can’t say whether it worked or not – but I can say after extensive speed tests,
   my site serves faster when this application is deactivated. Anyone using should
   be sure to test after activating.
