  • Same problem for me.
    How to solve?

I found a conflict with WEBphysiology Portfolio.
    Deactivating helped.
Since i have a lot of stuff in the portfolio I am looking for a work around.

Jan, I’ll take a look and see what I can do about the conflict.

austinviking, could you post a link to the form that isn’t working? I’ll take a look at the generated code. Also, see if disabling other plugins solves the problem, and let me know which one FM is conflicting with.

    Thanks so far.
If I can be of any assintance please let me know.

I’m having the same issue. Worked fine before. I’m also noticing that the form when submitted does not clear itself.

Confirmation emails to the user-submitted email address doesn’t work either.

If you want the website I’m running off of, let me know.

Same problem here : the submission works very well (data stored in the database and available with the display code), but the redirection page does not work, and one submitted the form keeps in place, so the user does not know if the submission has worked or not.

My website using the form is here :

    Thanks a lot in advance

    Best regards

I looked at the code, for some reason the scripts are being generated three times, but of course only one form. I’m not sure why that would be, but I think that is the problem. I would try deactivating other plugins to see if that solves it, and then from there I’ll see if I can resolve the conflict.

I’ll try to deactivate the plugins, thanks for the hint.

In the meantime, here is the list of plugins I use, maybe it could also give you a hint about the origin of the problem :

    Bad Behavior
    Customized Recent Comments
    DB Cache Reloaded Fix
    Easy Spoiler
Fast Secure Contact Form (this one is gonna be replaced by a form from your plugin)
    Form Manager
    Google +1
    Google Analytics Dashboard
    Google Analytics for WordPress
    Simple Author Highlighter
    Simple Facebook Connect
    Simple Page Ordering
    Simple Twitter Connect
    Smart Youtube
    Subscribe to Comments Reloaded
    TAC (Theme Authenticity Checker)
    TinyMCE Advanced
    Twitter Tools
    WordPress SEO
    Wordpress Thread Comment
    WP Minify
    WP Security Scan
    WP Super Cache
    Yet Another Related Posts Plugin

(all plugins are up to date)

    Best regards

OK I made some tests, the conflicting plugin on my site is Simple Facebook Connect.

If I disable the plugin, the javascript code just shows up once instead of three times, and the submission message is shown.

In the plugin, I have activated the following components :

    Publisher (send posts to Facebook)
Allow FB Login to Comment (for non-registered users)
Integrate FB Comments (needs automatic publishing enabled)

Do you think you can find a workaround to allow your plugin and this one work together, or should I begin searching for another plugin for my Facebook communication ? (I want to keep yours absolutely, it’s very useful !)

    Best regards

That would make sense, since I also have Simple Facebook Connect. Good detective work mdatawt

Ideally, I would like to keep Simple Facebook Connect, but I’ve had to disable it since I need the form integration, which is a shame.

If you could resolve the conflict, I’d think we’d all be very very happy. Thanks.

Thanks mdatawt for narrowing it down to SFC. 1.6.22 should fix this issue. There was actually something much deeper wrong with my plugin which was causing the problem, but I’ll spare you the details.

Thank you for your quick answer to this problem. I will let you know as soon as I get 1.6.22 if the problem is cleared on my site.

    Best regards

Just upgraded and tested…and it works perfectly !

Thanks you very very very very very much !

I am having a similar problem – upon submit the page refreshes, no success message appears and no email is received. I use the plugin a lot and this is the first time I’ve run into trouble.

    The site is:

    Plugins include:
    WPeCommerce Gold Cart
    jQuery Lightbox For Native Galleries
    Raw HTML capability
    Redirect Parent to First Child
    Smart YouTube
    Select Widget Context Widget Context
    WordPress SEO

I neglected to mention that I’ve deactivated all of the above plugins and still cannot get the form to work as it should. 🙁
