[Plugin: WordPress Download Monitor] Simple question with having an image as download link

  • I don’t knowif I’m missing something but all I want to be able to do is have a specific image as a download link. As it stands whatever I type in the title bar of the add download button of the post editor becomes the link followed by the download count. The only way I am able to have an image replace the title link is to put the img src code of my image into the title. The problem is when I am looking at my download stats they all have the same download image instead of the download title. How can I insert an image to replace the text link and NOT show the download count. I input the thumbnail url into the add download section however the only time I see the actual thumbnail is when I go to the download section on my dashboard and select edit. Again I want to be able to have an image replace the the text link and to not show the download count.. turntupradio.com thank you for your help

  • Maybe I should also note that I am putting the [[download id=”#”]} tag into my posts

Go to WordPress Admin > Download Monitor > Config – see the section called ‘custom formats’.

This allows you to set up how to output a link – be it text, an image, or any other html you want.
