Support » Plugin: Download Monitor » [Plugin: WordPress Download Monitor] Downloads cancelling after 1024kb

  • I’m a wordpress developer but have become greatly stuck today. I’m using download monitor for a charity site i maintain and have become aware of lots of downloads today, I took a look to see why so busy and realised it was because the downloads are stopping at 1024kb and the request gets cancelled. You end up with about the first thirty seconds of an mp3.

I recently updated download monitor and have done the same with wordpress. I redid this today. I have tried the standard stuff of checking file permissions etc. I am quite confused as i have watched the request happen and it just cancels at exactly 1024kb but according to my inspector it has a 200 ok status.

I think it my have something to do with the host or maybe php settings as it was fine a week or so ago. Just really need some advice on were to look next and if it is actually the plugins fault.

I must say its quite urgent as 23,000 times this download has been tried.

    All help appreciated

    Many thanks

  • Did you ever get this figured out? I’m having a similar problem. I suspect it’s due to PHP settings, which is disappointing. I’m hesitant to increase the memory limit etc just to get a WP plugin working again…
