Display custom field on file download page?! (4 posts)

I think this is probably just me being a little silly but I can't figure out how to get the custom field that I've added to my download to display on the individual download page itself. I have followed these steps:

"For example, if my download had 2 custom fields called ‘license’ and ‘author’ I could show these by adding a custom field called ‘include_fields’ and giving it the value ‘license, author’."

When we talk about the "include_fields" custom field are we talking about adding that as a WordPress custom field on my main Download Page (the page that lists popular downloads, search field etc? If so, I've tried that and it doesn't appear.

I'd really really appreciate a bit of help with this seemingly simple but frustrating issue.

Same problem here, documentation is not very clear. Someone must of worked this out or maybe Mike Jolley could offer some help with his plugin.

I would like to display a thumbnail on the main page, so far added a custom field to the download page and nothing appears.
