This is an odd error that another user has also mentioned.
If you could gather as much info on your server as possible that would help!
What WordPress and PHP versions are you using?
What other plugins do you have installed?
Who is your host?
What are your PHP time and memory limits set to?
Is PHP running in Safe Mode?
Do you have the PHP Suhosin patch activated?
Cheers,
Mikey
Hi Michael,
WordPress 3.4.1
PHP 5.3.10
Plugins installed and active:
Plugin installed but not active:
Host: Hostpapa
PHP is not running in Safe Mode
Don’t know if PHP Suhosin patch is activated. How can I tell this?
Thanks.
HostPapa are a great host for small to medium size blogs. So you are in good hahds
The suhosin patch is enabled on their servers which means that the maximum memory setting the plugin can set is 64M. However this should’t be be affecting your backup.
I have tested the plugin on their servers and it worked fine for me. So it could be a conflict with one of your plugins.
Are you getting any errors in your error logs? These can be accessed from your CPanel.
Duh, I sorted it! I had all the files checked because I didn’t read the instructions properly and assumed I needed to check them to include them.
Can I suggest if you use a cross instead of a tick? Is that possible?
Anyway thanks for your help, sorry to bother you with this one.
P.S. the database backup is in wp-content/backups right?
Anything is possible. A cross makes sense. 🙂
Thats correct the database backup is in wp-content/backups.
