Is there any way to set this plugin to make backups in a new folder every time?
say i wanted to have each backup automatically put in a separate subfolder labeled whatever the current date is. is this possible?

example: on 9/19/12 the backup would be put in a folder labeled 091912 or something like that.
and on 9/21/12 the backup would go in a folder labeled 092112 (or 120921)

How can i make this happen?

basically instead of overwriting the previous backup i want them to be sequential.

This is not possible without the zip extension for various reasons, on of which being bandwidth.

If you wish to store a canonical and subsequent versions of your blog you can install the Zip Premium Extension => http://wpb2d.com/premium
