I’m using Dropbox 1.3 on my WordPress Site

Looks like I installed everything correct (at least I think – double checked it a few times…)

It says the backup is complete

    I log into Dropbox.com

It says 16.5 MB are being used so I’m assuming this is my backup

But there’s no FILES tab for me to access this backup to check it
(I saw the FILES tab in a youtube video about installing the program)

These are the only tabs I have

    Account info
    Account
    settings
    Security
    Bonus space
    My apps

and none of them has the backup file listed.

    Please help.
    Thanks!

Have you authorised your plugin with Dropbox and selected a time and day for the backup to run?

    Hi Michael
    Thanks for helping out.
I logged in today to confirm I did what you suggested and there are now folders (with the download) on my home page of dropbox.com! Amazing… and kind of strange as to why they weren’t showing up there before.

    My new issue –
I have it authorized to run a backup everyday at 3AM
In my WP control panel / widget it says that

Backup completed on Wednesday October 17, 2012 at 12:03:54.
Backup completed on Tuesday October 16, 2012 at 13:41:42.
Backup completed on Monday October 15, 2012 at 17:09:27.

But when I go to Dropbox.com and click on the backup folder it ONLY shows a backup from the 15th which is the day I did the backup manually (by clicking the backup now) button.

    What gives?

    Thanks!

This is because the plugin will only upload files that have changed since the last backup.

In most situations only the two SQL dump files will have changed and should have an updated timestamp.
